Our revenue protection teams have one of the most challenging jobs. They’re good people doing so much to create a fair railway for us all. We recognised their work recently in conference, rewarding top performer Richard Hagues who took away the Revenue Officer of the Year prize.
⏰ We’re getting there. From 18 May, we’re adding extra capacity on some of our busiest lines (Blackpool-Manchester, Leeds-Doncaster & Wigan-Bolton). There will be some retimings and a few more extra services added across the network too.

Departing Harrogate.
We have already cleared a lot of the growth and vegetation, and are managing the present situation pending a wider (and sympathetic) refurbishment project next year with Network Rail. Frustrating it’s not sooner, but it means a better, long term solution and set of improvements.
We did have a timescale for this, let me check and I’ll get back to you. Agree it needs sorting!

👀 Newsham is confirmed as opening on Mon 17 March. Tickets go on sale 7 days beforehand.
Our revitalised and refurbished class 323 electric trains are looking good, and really smart inside. This one is just about to depart on time from Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe. WiFi and USB charging both on board, just as customers tell us they want.
