I will keep repeating this ‘cause some of y’all should be embarrassed by yourselves: It should have been over when he mocked a disabled reporter.
Period.

Well, there's hope after all.
It actually is very important that you do things that you take pleasure in, regularly. That is part of how you survive the things that feel like they are going to destroy you.
good morning. do not give into despair. do not isolate yourself in your grief and terror. let people see you. be a small light in the dark. draw the other light to you. there is no way forward alone. to go far, we must go together.
Breathe. Embrace your free time. Pour into your community. Respect what you can't control. Reject nihilism. Remember pace and perspective. Burnout is the enemy and helps no one, least of all yourself, and should be stridently avoided. That's the only way we're gonna get through this. And we will.
I always tell my patients to focus on what they can control. Stay informed, but don't let the external noise disrupt the peace you have worked so hard to obtain. Lean into your support system, anchor yourself in the present, and take it one day at a time. Control what you can.
