I work with people who were born after I started working at the company - they frequently remind me of this fact. ๐คจ
If my knees didn't ache so much in the cold weather, I'd hunt them down...
It is now the most satisfying part of the hobby for me ๐๐ป
Have you actually "hobbied" if you haven't superglued yourself to a plastic pot, covered your floor in dust and little offcuts, and got polyfilla on your trousers?
Thank you! BSkys photo cropping hasn't done me any favours... ๐คจ๐๐
Front view, dark blue and white colour scheme. Heavy grime and rust.
Back view, dark blue and white colour scheme. Heavy grime and rust. Really happy with the rust on the satellite dish.
Pre-painted model - torch body, legs from split raw plugs, and a toy satellite dish. Drill bit is a screw glued to a plastic cylinder
A geological probe droid - it's going to be an objective marker for games of Space Weirdos, etc. A long forgotten relic that has valuable information stored inside.

Stirling?
I don't know anymore...
Sterling work sir ๐๐ป
...and disabled spots without a blue badge ๐คจ
I frequently switch the sound off and put BBC Radio 5 Live on another device - and the pundit rage subsides ๐๐ป
It's been a tough watch, that's for sure ๐
I feel like they could have been a bit more random techy and cable-y (technical terms ๐), but glad you like them ๐๐ป
Totally agree. I buy the odd interesting GW model, and play less mainstream or indie games with non-GW models + my existing collection. It's as much a principle thing as it is financial now.
Thank you! The hover-bots are a bit simplistic, the bodies should be a lot more detailed really, but they'll look fine on the table ๐๐ป
Front view of Scavenger Dom with his staff chain weapon, his alien sidekick Wazzock (purple skin and weird blaster) and Chief Barker III the Cyber-Retriever
Rear view of Scavenger Dom with his staff chain weapon, his alien sidekick Wazzock (purple skin and weird blaster) and Chief Barker III the Cyber-Retriever
Front view of hover-bead-bots Mambo #5 (Armour hunter), 83RT (sniper-bot) and 3RN13 (flamer and chain weapon)
Rear view of hover-bead-bots Mambo #5 (Armour hunter), 83RT (sniper-bot) and 3RN13 (flamer and chain weapon)
Dom Chinn-aya and his little warband of scavengers (tech-archaeologists) are painted! Featuring his assistant Wazzock, Cyber-Retriever Chief Barker III, and the hover-bots Mambo #5, 83RT and 3RN13.

I have this but not read it yet - the first one was sooooooo good ๐๐ป
Pearl Jam ๐คฃ
(I'm a fan, but Lordy that man is incoherent half the time)
...and he's painted ๐ Now I just need to paint his assistants and robots/drones.

Definitely ๐
Hah! ...you'd think we'd get better at it, but no - 35 years in the hobby and still gluing myself to stuff ๐๐
Balls - Alt Text. One tall building, based around a disposable coffee cup, with loads of random junk glued to it. One shorter "storage tank" type building made from a dessert pot with a few bits glued to is. CD bases, primed in grey.
Two of the next things to be painted - I managed to glue myself to both projects more than once... ๐
I wish you could edit Bluesky posts...
I say I have no idea, then say why.
So I do have an idea
Me = dumbass
youtube.com/watch?v=bW6B... - I have no idea why I love this YouTube channel so much, I think it's because it's just so soothing and positive. This episode really spoke to me.
I've had to go to the gym first, then I get a coffee - apparently it's good for me ๐คจ
Thank you! I learned from Bill Making Stuff on YouTube that if you "layer" stuff on top of stuff (technical explanation ๐) it stops looking like "recognisable" junk

It's painted! Went for a Star Wars scheme, and had loads of fun with chipping and streaking grime ๐

Ridiculously happy at this ๐คฉ
