I might have the wrong terms here, i apologize! I’m not a native speaker. But basically I’m not personally spiritual or religious, so i use tarot as a self-reflection + mindfulness tool. I have my own ”ritual” for it. I ask my subconscious the questions, not the divine if that makes sense?

I have this one photo from 8 years ago (when i was 15yo)! I remember vividly being alone at the library after my therapy appt, waiting for my bus. Our library had a tiny english book section where I found this and I remember falling in love with the poems so hard. ❤️
But idk what book it is?? 😭

Swans are so majestic!! I love our whooper swans and seeing them fly is truly a sight! I think they have a beautiful name in my language, ”the singing swan” 🤍🤍

Omg I love that!! After I finish Dostojevski’s crime & punishment (print 1992), I might begin Anna Karenina 1&2, and these hardbacks were printed in 1948!!
On my TBR I also have Daphne duMaurier’s Rebecca (print 1973) or my illustrated special edition of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley :) 🤍

Agh, i'm sorry to hear that! I hate when the dread-to-read books come along lol! But hat sounds like a solid plan. While this book wasn't for your liking, I hope the next one will fix the disappointment :] <3

If you're feeling reluctant every time you think of picking up the book, i'd say DNF bc then clearly it's not for you. I'm not sure how your bookclub works, but maybe in discussion you could explain what in the book made you DNF? :]

I adore oracle cards and tarot and have a few decks myself. I'm atheist and I only use secular approach! I just wish there were more resources for the secular approach
