In a time of advanced alienation and cognitive restriction, I strongly advocate that you learn from these movements -- and honor them by crafting your own for your distinct conditions, which are, once again, yet unprecedented in history. Your tools and your challenges and your minds have changed.
But my point, in the simplest terms, is that we do not live in tsarist Russia, agrarian China, or Batista's Cuba, nor do we even live in a nascent Nazi Germany. This is the year 2026 in an imperial formation that has by now evolved several times. Shed the time-honored disguise of dead generations.
A popular self-organization of power that keeps any state reorganization honest in its commitment to the interests of the working class, and its progress indeed toward its own "withering away", is essential -- dialectical, not contradictory. Processes hostile to this dynamic accrue contradictions.
You can argue that the resulting revolutionary processes became dogmatic, largely because "defending the revolution" (consolidating power in the ostensible "means") entailed suppression of inconvenient dissent that would have strengthened and updated those analyses, but that's accessory to my point.
I should clarify. When I talk about dogmatic approaches to Marxism, I don't mean those tendencies were formed that way; they were earnest and educated attempts at materialist praxis formulated in their time and circumstances. The dogmatism at issue is a failure or refusal to synthesize our own.
Everybody has a place in this -- you are important to us -- and it's no platitude. Every single person you make an impression upon is an entire world changed. Let's get to work.

Our social fabric is so deeply degraded that literally anything you can do to improve prosocial behavior and flexibility (COMMITMENT & RESPONSIBILITY) in communities, coalitional behavior around common experience & goals, it all makes a difference. It's all training for the bigger fights before us.
You don't have to call that anarchism, but I do. If we refuse to confine each other to century-old polemical caricatures, we can move on and accomplish something. If you're committed to class consciousness you know we need to focus on what we have in common. Ask more of yourself than your community.
More easily, I mean, than recovering core purposes from a lineage of dogmatic thought so confounding as to lose sight of the ends, via well-considered, but antiquated, second-, third-, and fourth-order means -- too familiar in liberalism -- and so failing to synthesize into the present conditions.
You can't 'no true Scotsman' a group so diffuse as to be meaningless, but you can more easily redefine it along base principles and lead explicitly and by example, while recognizing the poverty of analysis among vulgar individualists and idealist liberals who can't see the water they're swimming in.
You have to do everything. And I don't accuse Marxists broadly of dichotomizing either; their claim to organizational discipline is at least as valid as that of the broad, frankly incoherent diversity of self-described anarchists. Any 'tendency' may do a disservice to modern synthesis.
Implicit in such critique, for dogmatic Marxists (a category Marx didn't consider himself among), is the ideal that seizure of the existing system is the realistic end of a dichotomy. It is foolish to project that dichotomization and devalue the groundwork anarchism builds to converge on a solution.
Sectarians have long criticized the lack of capacity of anarchism to deliver organized medicine tomorrow. They assume we have no dialectical materialist analysis but show themselves lacking, because you first have to build mostly everything else around it to support converting professional community
We're running late. Democratized technologies are on the brink of seizure. Whatever you do to resist will get banned somehow if you don't so dramatically change the paradigm that it becomes indomitable. And the segments in which you can do so are limited but instrumental. Information is fundamental.
