I've never felt sorry for a spurs player before but... my god
I can't bring myself to support any other English teams in Europe, bar Arsenal. Although the thinking part of my brain accepts that City going through makes the title race harder for them, so I wouldn't be disappointed about that.
Even the linesman changed his mind about flagging it. No idea what VAR was up to.
How have Liverpool got away with that?!

No no no, we must restrict the methods of breaking open those low blocks so teams will NEVER be forced to come out of them. That'll improve the spectacle.
Oh absolutely, loads about it was fantastic. Just that coming so close to pulling off an impossible, once in a lifetime run chase, only to end up with just another semi final loss, feels like a huge 'if only'. Very excited by Bethell's future though!
That's the key point - Samson set the tone for the entire match. In the alternate universe where he's out for 15, we could've been uncertain about how to approach a 180 target and fallen 20 short. Although in a way that would've been easier to swallow than getting so close to pulling this one off!
Just to clarify Sachin, this is the manager of the team 17th in the 'ball in play' table talking about the team that's 6th, right? The manager of the team 16th in the fair play table talking about the team that's top of it?
This season sure, but...
I know everyone is talking about Birmingham - Leeds but we just won an actual real gold medal in *snowboarding* and it was brilliant
Is it though? 57 is low, but city are on 53 which is almost unprecedented. If anything it's a stat that should reassure us.
I don't express it enough on this platform, but I've always been a huge admirer of Liverpool FC #YNWA
I can't believe Chelsea's brilliant master plan of not creating a single worthwhile chance didn't work.
Anthony Taylor having an absolute stinker here. PGMOL through and through.
Lovely to have Peter Drury's poetic full time monologue accompanied by a woman giving the double two fingers to Newcastle fans.
Seeing spurs in a bright yellow away kit is a lovely bit of nostalgia. Seeing them 3-0 is also nice.
He's also (when fit) been really good this season? He's taking more shots again, he's playing with energy, he's always looking to move the ball forward and he plays passes no one else can.
David, I think this might be your best ever
Please please please let's not spend the next seven months having this conversation
I said this at the time. I think the comms even mentioned that he did well to stop our defenders getting to it, but no one questioned the offside at all. But it is what it is, we only have ourselves to blame for not winning really.
This is what happens when a ref lets a player get away with whatever he wants. Caicedo should've been booked ages ago and Taylor did nothing to rein him in
It was a different world back then. Hopefully you can find a reason to go back again in the internet age!
I'm surprised, if anyone is going to find a game I'd expect it to be you! You've got me googling the Mongolian Premier League now!
That's really cool! I'd love to see Mongolia and the Stan countries. Not easy places to travel round though! What took you there?
Two years ago today I was in a queue on the Altiplano to get from Chile to Bolivia. I've done a lot of border crossings in the past, but none quite like this one.
As if last night wasn't sweet enough after all the misery from Bayern down the years, their most experienced players throwing tantrums because they don't know how to process being comprehensively played off the park is a beautiful cherry on top. It could've easily been 4 or 5.
This might just be a trick of my memory, but India seem to play Pakistan in pretty much every WC in both formats. It's very convenient for viewing figures.
I think Arteta will go under, but I'd play the Carabao team. The Chelsea game is huge and there's a lot more room for error in the CL than PL - we only need top 8 rather than top 1, and have games v Brugge and Kairat to come.
