I liked the first one enough but I think I was more enamored with the 3D, which was an advent at the time. Iβve come to hate 3D, and to me, the film itself didnβt age well for exactly what you said. I think we mad it 1/2 way through the second one, we were bored and turned it off.
Love that record
This shit is exhausting
Oooo. Thatβs tough. Iβll have to think on that

Love these covers of the great Marvin Gaye⦠youtu.be/S_73v32i5Ik?...
F1 in IMAX is a Peak theatrical experience. itβs Days of Thunder + Tin Cup + Moneyball +Top Gun Maverick and itβs the perfect movie to see in the theater.
Lol!
Only reason this is being blasted is because it's Trump. This kind of stuff gets settled before mergers all the time. It's typical in business deals. I don't like it either, but it's not unusual, nor do I think it's as damaging as it feels to free speech. www.aol.com/cbs-parent-c...
What gets me is the level of delusion out of that crowd.
whoa! This looks great, man... can't imagine how long it took to stage that!
Same!
Ace of Bass! There was a dude in my class at UGA that listened to them incessantly. I grew to hate that band! Wilson was a legend, and modern music owes so much to him.
We did a couple while mine was doing Karate.
Sounds like theyβre trying to convince those kids that they should compete.
Imagine what he can do if he doesnβt have to pick up a story started by someone else?
I think there is good opportunity here in some more rural areas.. you can get in, and find a niche for a small brewery. In the city where I live, they're just oversaturated, and market share really diluted. If you're established, you're pretty safe.
How are breweries doing in Canada? They've overbuilt them down here, so we're seeing a lot of contraction.
I just don't think anyone ever expected Andor to do the numbers of more mainstream (and recognizable) SW content. I could be wrong, but they had to know it was a more adult show that wouldn't draw that kind of viewership. It'll get a lot of rewatch mileage though.
Seeing a lot of talk about the modern day parallels in Andor. Not wrong, mind you but itβs bigger than that. Tony Gilroy is actually exploring our history to show us how societies fall and people rise up? Thatβs what SW has always been about. This has happened throughout history.
Fuck. Andor this week is just phenomenal storytelling. On top f that, it is the best use of the streaming model of episodic TV Iβve ever seen. Bravo
I saw the interview when it aired this weekend. Itβs total cringe.
LOL! I like the Beatles (paritucarly the latter years) but I think they're mostly overrated. I do like George Harrison's solo work a lot.
The notion of whether it belongs in SW or not is the big topic of discussion right now, but I'll defend it & say it does belong in THIS particular SW show. If you're suddenly outraged by it, and were ok with all the other subtext in Andor, I just don't think you're paying attention.
There are some real world discussions I'm going to stay out of here. But as far as Star Wars goes, personally, I have no issue with the scene being included, mostly because the effect it is intended to have is felt without going too far, and it does have purpose. It's visceral but not gratuitous.
I've been having a great conversation with a friend of mine here on Bluesky about THAT scene in Andor S2E3 (don't want to spoil it) & the discourse surrounding it. She gave me some great perspective on it from an angle I had not considered, and that's what makes for great discussion on these things
Modular became a dirty word down here because they were done to be a cheaper alternative, and they usually didn't look as good as a stick built house, but unlike Manufactured Housing (Trailers) they are built to the exact same building code as stick built houses.
I'm a huge proponent of modular construction. It's starting to catch on in the US in some circles, but not fast enough.
Still the greatest film trilogy of all time.
