the saddest thing about all these new live action cartoon adaptations is that we literally already had the formula down like 15-20 years ago. they CAN be good! you just gotta keep it bright and colorful and (most importantly) campy as hell

i’ve said it before but never on this platform, so i’ll say it again: live action remakes are disrespectful to their animated counterparts because they are made by and for people who hold live action in higher regard than animation. if people respected animation as an art form, we wouldn’t have this
