Was it the Fast Show who had - there's this one sketch that still kills me to think about. With the woman going to a hypnotist to quit smoking, and they try steadily more skilled practitioners until one guy with a Victorian-villain top hat and moustache cartoon-creeps past the door and gets called.
I was going to suggest Bob Mortimer for that role. Love it.
