And certainly not causing some historians and cultural commentators to suggest it may even have enabled and emboldened other nations and leaders, potentially creating some of the international crises of our current era. No, the invasion of Iraq definitely worked out okay and didn't cause decades of problems. There's certainly no link to an increasingly unchecked Putin, the rise of ISIS or further regional destabilisation.
