How do biomolecular condensates🫧 interact with membranes? We show that dielectric permittivity contrast between coexisting phases directly governs condensate wetting behavior.

Using hyperspectral imaging with ACDAN and phasor plotting, we map phase-specific dielectric properties.
Condensates can exhibit a wide range of permittivities from water- to oil-like.
