i should clarify for those unfamiliar that at that point it was already a 20 year old game and not entirely niche but also not hugely popular

seeing a lot of people talking about the pros/cons of player counts on steam, as a fan of niche games I hate it when people use it to diminish them or when people use the dropoff on a years old single player game in the same way
