I love local independent hardware stores in moments like this. A veritable phalanx of Old Dads, Uncs and Papaws primed and ready to HELP. YOU. OUT.

Johnβs words are always important to me. Theyβve never been more important than right now. Weβre very lucky to receive the wisdom in this thread.
I cheer for the laundry, regardless. What else am I doing at 2pm on a December Tuesday?
Bad, bad. Old school long range two footed scissor. Lotta ball. Lotta leg.
I woke up inspired this morning. Iβm going to cook brisket for the tailgate next week. Come one. Come all. See you in the White Lot. Go Cards.
Just had to explain to Davie that we have to change the TV from something that makes us happy (Bluey) to something that makes us miserable (Tottenham Hotspur). #COYS
Having a human toddler and a large geriatric dog has really helped me understand why people build/buy single story homesβ¦
Are we sourcing the meat logs or are we making our own? Thatβs one thing thatβs always held me back.
Tottenham Hotspur.
Trying to heel-toe a 911 in worn out Burkenstock Bostons is a real adventure.
The series is "The Light Bringer" by Brent Weeks. Enjoy(?).
Gonna go ahead and throw in my support for a "Spencer talks loud fast things" pod.
Danielle came home yesterday and proclaimed, βSomeone must have been cleaning out their grandpas closet. I found you so many Brooks Brothers shirts at Goodwill!β Such subtle savagery from my lovely wife.
Watching UofL basketball on The CW gives big βCards on FOXβ vibes. Not mad about it.
At first I was like, βVolleyball school?β, and then I was like βVolleyball school!β.
β83 βDream Gameβ UofL winner text.
And why not, UofL people need wins wherever (and whenever) we can get them these days.

You probably did see a POLO Harlekin. There were more of them in Europe than the Golf Harlequin variant there or in the US. POLO is a similar, but smaller car than the Golf. Neat little cars, never sold in the US. "Lots" running around here now that they're over 25 years old, though.
A guy in my town (Louisville KY) had one for a little while and recently had it up for sale. Possibly the same one you spotted!
Funnily enough, this is actually a VW POLO Harlekin. Never actually sold in the US (until it got old enough to be imported into the US easily), so it's even more rare than the Golf Harlequin that was sold here.
Yeah, I made a lot of questionable car-stereo decisions as a youngβin. Some of us donβt grow out of those phases though haha
Attention, presumably, because it sure as shit isnβt for performance.
Shout out to the top 5 skies in the world, pie in the, reach for the, excuse me while I kiss the, Lucy in the, and Blue.
Congratulations!
Iβve seen people say they canβt wait for Matt Jones on this site, but personally I think thereβs plenty University of Louisville discussion already here.
