Screenshot of Google search for sodium bisulfite showing AI overview in Simpler mode. Overview contains information about both sodium bisulfite and sodium bisulfide starting "Sodium bisulfide is a chemical that has many uses", then sources for obtaining sodium bisulfite, then examples for uses that doesn't make clear which chemical it refers to, ending with hazards of sodium bisulfide.
Went through five different browsers/OS combinations before I could reproduce this--four would not give me the AI overview. And when I did get it (Safari on Mac), there was a "Simpler" option that was somehow worse? So now search is unreliable and non-deterministic--just awesome work

What Google AI gave in response to "elements that end in um": Al Overview According to Quora, the following chemical elements end in "-um": Learn more : Aluminum (Al), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Lithium (Li), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn), Platinum (Pt), Potassium (K), Sodium (Na), and Strontium (Sr).
Generative AI is the gift that keeps on giving. First reaction: 10 elements? Well that's embarrassing. Moments later: What's that doing in the list?
