Quote of the day because of course they do.
"Inland Revenue said that in the six years to 2025, nearly 15% of all companies removed from the Companies Register were owed money by their shareholders at the time they were removed.

Collectively, shareholders owed these companies $2billion."!!!

Wegovy users have five times greater risk of sudden sight loss than Ozempic users, study finds ‘Eye strokes’ that reduce blood flow to optic nerve likely to be side-effect of active ingredient semaglutide, says author Patients taking Wegovy have nearly five times the risk of sudden sight loss of those on Ozempic, a large-scale study has found. Global economy must stop pandering to ‘frivolous desires of ultra-rich’, says UN expert Olivier De Schutter says new economic agenda needed to tackle crises of rising inequality and ecological collapse

Global economy must not pander to “frivolous and destructive demands of the ultra-rich”.

They fund political parties, profit from socially and ecologically destructive growth.

UK example - deregulation, regressive taxation, concentration of wealth, inequalities, sewage in rivers.

You sound like an unhinged person if you in plain words describe what’s happening, but the Trump admin demanded Anthropic’s AI be able to kill things for it w/out human approval and also do mass surveillance.

Anthropic said no, and now the admin is trying to destroy the company in retaliation.

Did Nicola Willis just appoint Atlas Network connections to her surprise RBNZ Covid Inquiry? Willis launches a surprise Covid inquiry with results to come out 6 weeks before the election. Most NZ publications noted her hiring of "independent" experts. I looked further into it.

My investigative piece today on Nicola Willis's surprise RBNZ Covid Inquiry announcement. She has set it up so that the results are released 6 WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION

When everything feels urgent Working under pressure creates a reaction which keeps organisations stuck. What can you do to make your life a little easier?

As true for business as it is for politics.... You can't juggle your way out of systemic problems.

Some governments raise taxes to fund public health and education. Not Luxon. He is literally raising taxes to subsidise fossil fuels. He is putting a levy on our electricity bills to pay for his LNG import terminal.

Unemployment grinds at the soul of societies. A waste of human potential & at 5.4% a massive failure of Government policy. Investing in good jobs will be one of Labour’s biggest priorities.

"Landmark moment:" Prices plunge as renewables supply half of grid, batteries surge and coal hits new low Record renewables and storage, falling prices and emissions, lowest coal and plunging gas delivers much needed boost for federal government's energy transition.

For the first time, clean energy has supplied the majority of electricity in our main grid for a full three months. And, because renewables are dominating new supply and easily the cheapest source of new energy, our bills were cheaper as a result. Win, win! reneweconomy.com.au/landmark-mom...

Damning quotes in this article. Atrocious politicization of something so fundamental to the future of our children and Aotearoa
