Goodness Knows We Know What Goodness Is Oh, to have the moral clarity of a conservative commentator.

People will say that Kimmel is a canary in the coal mine of authoritarianism or will compare his ousting to censorship in 1930’s Germany. Now is when we must say: this is bullshit. That canary hasn’t been singing for quite some time. These aren’t omens of things to come, they’re already here.

In this autumn town where the leaves can fall I don't think I enjoyed this book at all.

It's been a while since I've been so emotionally wrecked by a book. The titular act is suicide and the book is inescapably about it. The book is accordingly bleak but there's also joy, humour, healing and growth. I would suggest much caution before going into it but it's an incredible read.

No idea why I waited so long to dive into this book. As someone mostly attracted to *shudders* men, the desire and sensuality/sexuality of the queer women in Mrs S was super hot. Highly recommend!

Got very excited for a second as I thought that was Cassandra Ciangherotti. But I also enjoy Troian Bellisario, so it's a win anyway!

Kyra has been particularly cute while I've been making my way through King: A Life. She wants to learn by osmosis, maybe?
