I'm so mad I made a very stupid mistake on #4
in this day and age, it is actually more heroic for a white dude to *not* pod a cast.
More cars is never ever the answer. If someone is trying to sell you how safe they are, they've already lost the argument. They're not safe; they're just adding more cars to the road.
Hard to stress how disappointed I was when I learned trains are not under their jurisdiction
Gotta be a pretty bewildering skeet to read for folks out of state
"Yeah... We'll totally go away..."
- Mosquitoes laying eggs in a puddle made by fog accumulation dripping off a parked car into a divot created by uneven pavement
Always sad to see him on another team but he got us some great picks and let us tank so I'm glad to see him coming back like this
The larger breville toaster ovens are frankly better than most full size ovens and can do meaningful amounts of food too! A shame we don't have anything remotely similar in the dishwashing space (that I'm aware of)
Especially since modern ones are more water-efficient than hand washing!
You can tell which yimby accounts here spend a lot of time (reading posts, not just tweeting from org accounts) on twitter because they're starting to post right leaning stuff here too
Didn't realize the nyt could hit a new low in service of centimillionaire (alleged) sex criminals
Rip my first ever experienced contraflow lane
Pretty crazy how important the blockade of a trade route is right now
Idk if I want the game plan to have him take a bunch of 3s but I want him to do this every now and then so teams have to guard him everywhere

There needs to be like 5 "too nice to work" holidays controlled by each state. Like a snow day, you don't get any advance notice. The stations and alerts just put out the message that the next day is too nice to work and everyone is off.
I grew up with a grandparent that worked a farm and talked about how hard it was and all their descendants went into white collar work
This is a great point, most of the changes one could make are very costly and/or disruptive*
*encouraging the median American to engage in the longest commute of their life via mediocre to bad public transit on a day they're depressed about gas prices impacting their finances*
Do you mean a bridge lol
My dreams of a velodrome x fishing development refuse to die...
I'd do this and then take some of my leftover billions and develop an outdoor velodrome with a deep pond in the middle with a dock and stock it with a variety of fish. That way, when people are watching a race, they could also maybe see a kid catch a fish
Something about how there isn't a shortage of family-sized units, there's a shortage of affordable studios and 1-beds that drives many childless adults into roommate situations
I feel like 2 showers and 2 toilets goes so far to save on waits... I lived in a dorm with 44 guys, 5 showers, and 6 toilets, and it worked surprisingly well! It's just having multiple options. Also 4 bathrooms for 3 people is insane lol
Someone made fun of me for saying any ideal roommate situation has 2 full bathrooms (this was for a hypothetical 5-roommate situation). Like, it's not always possible, but it's gotta be dreamable!
are you sure you want to draft a king they are all from Sacramento and only know how to loose
The hills between Berkeley and Walnut Creek are one of the prettiest places in the world
I'm riding Bart to the east bay wearing pants rn and I'm about to join you in spirit
Congratulations! That venue looks beautiful!
