This is what we love, peak inclusion.
I love this. Would actually hang it somewhere.
Well there is this
โชAnother 2004 experiment in hybrid cinematography โ a crane/dolly shot. (Maybe these days we'd call it a drone shot ๐คท) Never used this move in the movie, though we did many big aerial shots.

A nine panel comic strip following two figures as they traverse a barren and desolate landscape - their journey takes them through ruins and abandoned structures of a former civilisation - we realise that this was once our world and the destruction is the result of a massive global war - we also learn that these ruins and wastelands are the home and country of the victors in the war! The strip is titled Deadsun.

Managed to get back to my favourite walk. It was rather brisk but nice to be back on the sea walk.
Goddamn this has been live for 3 hours and weโve already raised $5k!!! Thereโs an early bird discount for the first 48 hours so get on it: www.kickstarter.com/projects/798...
Up at 3am perched on a ladder, trying to work out how to put a new battery in our (insanely loud) beeping smoke alarm, was not on my bingo card. Note to self.. the bastard thing horizontally slides off.. itโs not a pull down type. Remember this!!!
They should give parents the option of bare metal/no carpet in cars!! No plastic just easy to clean lovely metalโฆ even better a slider in the footwell like on toasters to get rid of crumbs!
Last couple of days itโs hit me hard as well. The apathy is almost impossible to work through. Hope this week is better for everyone.
They look beautiful ๐๐
Keep them, dont ever do what I did!! ๐ฌ - I was unboxing some stuff this morning and I found The discovery of Bismark and Lost ships of Guadacanal... so I didn't get rid of all those books ha ha
I thought that was a 2x2m chunk of wood leaning against a room wall until my eyes caught up, and noticed the ruler... I was like, fair play for hauling that back home. ๐
I've just plugged in my wife's speakers to my iMac and am now blasting Tina Turner... This will be followed by some Steve Winwood, Paul Simon and Randy Newman - No doom scrolling or news today, just positive energy under blue skies, and getting stuff done. Have a top day everyone.
Oh man Randy Newman - something special warms the heart (in an 80s way) at the end of the brilliant โOverboardโ.

Illustration for my own project
Pushed myself to increase the size (A4) of my illustrations today. Cracked open the Doug Chiang book and got busy. Probably need to revisit Scottโs perspective book also ๐คฃ
Gigantic! I'd forgotten that. I had the great Ballard books with Ken Marshall illustrations.. but like an idiot gave them away in a book purge ๐ The Brittanic one had some great illustrations of the wreck off Kea.
Alvore Beach with Golden Rocks
The beach had incredible rocks, which were golden and sculpted in amazing ways.

Red Window on a White wall in Portugal
An old door in Alvore, Portugal
Old Blue Wall in Alvore, Portugal
Some #ref from Portugal tonight! We stayed in a beautiful place called Alvore, right next to the Sea. There was a stunning old church where we sat and under blue tree's, and watched people come and go.
And what a desk it'll be... lovely shape to it.
