The intention of the anti trans project, from “just asking questions” to “fairness in sports” was always this: to make it illegal and impossible to be trans in society.
To create pretexts for our arrest and removal, if we don’t put ourselves under house arrest.
To punish us for being different.
Shaved heads. Withdrawal of necessary medication. Forced medical detransition. Solitary confinement. Physical abuse. Emotional abuse. Endless rape, by inmates and staff.
All of these cruel and unusual punishments have been documented against trans women in jails and prisons. This is happening now.
This is from HR 7661, calling itself the Stop the Sexualization of Children Act. This must not pass.
I wrote this comic 2 years ago. I was terrified when I wrote it but had hope it wouldn't come to pass and would be a reminder of how bad things got before we pulled back.
It not only has, it has gotten even worse. This is absolutely terrifying and will destroy lives if passed.
