My experience so far of #AssistedDying prospect of loved one is that it makes final months upbeat rather than anxiety ridden. Terribly sad, of course, and I am scared of what lies ahead, but so relieved that suffering won't be unbearable and grateful for the quality of the time we still have.

This looks extremely important. Reservations about offsetting for a long time, but this brings them sharply into focus and requires a new approach
The @uniofexeter.bsky.social convened a panel to advise the university on how to use carbon offsets in its ambitious net zero target. Our conclusion is that all offsets should be ditched. We very much hope other universities will do likewise.
