I have friends that did 'ok' on Zoop, but said the traffic from random people they didn't know and were going to support them anyway was WAY higher on KS. And Indigogo got taken over by CG so that's not really an option either. My French publisher uses Ulule, which seems to have a loyal following.

I would do a Men In Black comic with you in a heartbeat. Especially since it was originally a Canadian comic book!!! I would be curious about the right. You don't need likeness rights, because it was originally original characters.

That being said, I’m shocked at the very least @ahoycomicmags.bsky.social hasn’t given you something on Toxic Avenger.
It sucks my friend and as you know I’m going through similar surprise and struggle that not so much as a back up story has been thrown my way after two not unsuccessful books. I’m lucky I manage to still get some interest in my pitches, but I can’t afford to finance them with tiny advances.
What Jenn isn’t mentioning is part of me being lucky enough to be there to experience this once-in-a-lifetime moment is her allowing me to crash at her apartment while she’s not there because comic people gotta budget!
