Does anyone ever actually use Apple's Books app on the desktop? Asking, because here's the grid view, and then the list view. Why, why isn't the list view all text and much more information dense?

My kids and I were wondering about rules here. Do they have to be inanimate objects? If you use animals, does that imbue them too much with the traits of the animal (e.g. bedbug, squirrel, cephalopod)? Are more syllables better (refrigerator, azalea) or is two the sweet spot (spigot, football)?

👀 Trump in remarks to the House GOP just now promises no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime + an extension of the 2017 Trump tax cuts.

That is, at minimum, an $8.95 TRILLION increase to the national debt for a tax bill.

I've heard plenty about block list subscriptions, but I agree that has to be dynamic. I thought I saw a post yesterday indicating that the Bluesky team was aware this has become a problem.
