Next day, good news news from #DH2026 in #Daejeon arrived - our proposal on "Nostalgia in alt-right social media: Truth Social" (with Mykola Makhortykh) got accepted!

Very excited to approach nostalgia computationally across such different corpora and bringing new insights to the table.

#DH2026 proposal has been accepted. Our "Playing Heaven" team will host a mini-conference on AI and intellectual history with Neo-Confucianism as our case study. CFP and more details to follow.

Woo hoo! Our proposal for #DH2026, “Minimal Computing with a Database? The Pan-African Data Project as Hybrid Minimal Computing,” was accepted. This was, however, the first time I had two of the reviews say to go back and re-read Roopika Risam’s work. My powers of anonymization are strong!
