Lmao and in both cases it's even funnier bc english literally comes from the same roots as german and like half of its vocabulary is a derivation of a french word like cmon guys

Yes ig french can be more useful,,,😔but hey learning a dead language is still better than no language right 😍(says the person who studied medieval french)
But avoiding the french pronunciation is so valid because wth are we doing (the way english speakers say some french words will always be funny)

As a french, sadly it's not much better lmao (well I'd say it's still a little bit easier imo but I may simply be biased)

Not only is it horrendous, it also makes some scenes utterly ridiculous bc wdym Xie Lian est devant une go en full face qui fait du 95E and he goes "Monseigneur maître du vent ^^" eh mes couilles sur ton front mon bb Xie Lian serait jamais irrespectueux comme ça non mais qui a laissé passer ça srx

I could have accepted not using gender neutral pronouns when talking about them in general (because sadly everything is gendered in french) but the way they don't even use she/her when she's literally in her fem form is.....certainly a choice 🫩

I'm still so bitter about the way the french edition misgender SQX 🫩 like bro, the chinese edition uses the correct pronouns, the english translation (on which 99% of the french one is based) uses the correct pronouns.... They had literally no excuses it was completely on purpose
