Alice in Borderland - it’s kinda like if Squid Game and LOST had a baby.

Having Law say they married got the news out without pictures.
I think they wanted the news out before they had to do promo for The Odyssey.
And this is why you can’t trust AI.
I just watched the first season this weekend. It is so good!
* Junior High aged girl. She’s 14.
I don’t get it
Step 1: Catfish authors with other famous authors
Step2: ???
Step 3: Profit
Maybe steal your social passwords and try to get money from your fans?
Before people start complaining about Millennials and avocado toast, housing prices are so expensive. Where outside of the country can you find a decent house for less than $500K?
Or cheap rent so you can save?
You have to start on the bottom shelf before you can get to the top shelf stuff.
Much of my college drinking involved Nikolai and other cheap brands.
This is the opposite of Fetch.
It needs to happen.
Water no up is sending me.
I watched the first couple of episodes, the first thing I thought was that she should stay off social media because her portrayal was horrible.
Capitulate to what? No one knows what he wants.
This interview was the chance to start winning customers back. That didn’t happen.
I honestly don’t know what they are doing.
They aren’t making a play for new customers and they aren’t wooing their old.
Hasn’t he been saying that all week?
Tim Minear revealed the secret of Inara's syringe, as seen in the pilot episode; she is infected with a deadly disease. There would have been an episode where Reavers gang-rape her. Because she injected herself with the syringe, all of the Reavers on the ship die.
This is what they had planned for Inara. Hard pass for me.
So we get to the same point, but a deeper motivation that ties back to the story the show is telling.
And hopefully we’ll see more of the ghosts in the future.
Clarisse promised the ghosts on her ship Elysium. Which she needs her father, Ares, to support.
But maybe by the events in Book 5, she needs other campers’ help to achieve this and they refuse to fight Chronos.
So Clarisse says she refuses to fight.
One of the complaints of the book is Clarisse’s reasoning for not joining the fight.
But the one dropped plot from S2 is something that could be used to drive that plot point.
Listening to the latest episode of @newestolympian.bsky.social and have a theory about a potential change to S5 from the book.
It’s too late. This should have been the plan from the start.
Say you’re anti-DEI and have the backlash from your customers. At the same time release a bunch of collabs with trad wife influencers to get new ones while everyone is talking about you.
Now it just seems desperate & no one likes that
An early version of Girl Scouts selling in front of dispensaries.
You were an innovator.
CNN was the middle ground between FOX and MSNBC for news.
Once it’s Bari-fied, no one is going to trust it so it’s going to be some other inoffensive channel that plays everywhere.
Not News.
Aside from the Christian Nationalism and alcoholism, this is the reason why Hegseth is a terrible Sec of Defense - logistics.
Wars are won by planning. You build and prepare the supply chain before you start.
None of that warfighters BS.
The last time I was in a Walgreens, the chocolate was locked up. That was the last time I shopped there.
$5 chocolate
I don’t even think I wanted chocolate that day, but I didn’t want to shop at a place that had them under lock and key.
I love the 50 Shades soundtrack, but I’ve never seen the movie.
I think that there are good stories to tell as long as it’s kept to very low stakes but focuses on key themes of Star Wars.
What’s key is great writing.
Tell a good story and people won’t complain much about the lack of locations.
Like all of this has to be built, and I don’t think much will happen in The Volume. Maybe the ship scene can be filmed with it.
I’m suggesting a $100M show vs the $200M+ of Andor and the Acolyte.
With practical sets and minimal CGI
And puppets!
You would have a main location with several breakout areas.
For example, it’s a desert planet and there are 3 or 4 main locations where all the action takes place.
Lots of discussion and minor action until a big battle in episode 5.
First, limit locations.
Part of the show would take place on a ship.
Like ANH, you can long moments of characters talking while in hyperspace.
This would be part of the first 2 episodes and the finale.
