These days I’m wishing I were Spanish. With PM Sanchez n’ all.

Bibi went to Mar a Lago for private talks before Trump took office. Hmmmm….
You don’t think Israel already has had them for ages?
And we will all be hallucinating about dog friendly pubs. This will all change.
I wonder how much time these clowns have actually spent in the Middle East trying to understand issues and culture from the inside. Do you think they could even draw an accurate map?
I’m afraid the horse has bolted and is way over the hill and far away on this one, Ian. Anyone building proprietary data and information rich apps from here on in is going to have to figure out how to hide the good bits from AI bots.
I’m wondering if I should send this to all the “hasslers” in my life. But they’d prob just hassle me about it.
As if I could like him even less. Now I do. Yuck ugh.
Here’s my thought: he never supported this war. Said that emphatically during campaign. (Mind you Trump did too, but he’s mad.) He’s staying out of the media so that when Trump fully fails (leaves, dies, gets impeached) he can have (im)plausible deniability.
May the wind be at your back. Safe travels.
“Let’s back it to go right”. Yup that’s reassuring. And so mealy mouthed. He’s a fool. Saying foolish things. How on earth does he decide who is “good” and who is not? Who gave him that power of divination? Or any of us? I barely confidently know that about people I’ve known all my life.
We’ve stopped watch #bbclaurak. She’s just too awful. And I’m tired of listening to the Reform idiots piffling about on her show. Trevor Phillips of Sky much better. He had the Russian Ambassador to the UK on today. Way more pertinent.
Personally I think it’s honourable to be on a list of people / countries that Trump criticises. It shows we’re not standing up to his bullying. Now, if only we were doing in from within the EU, along with leaders like Sanchez, that’d be even better. I know you believe that too. Thx Sir Ed.
And, if you want, you too can buy one to wear shamelessly at the funeral of a loved one. www. trumpstore. com
Can you even imagine doing that?!?!
That person (I can’t even call him a man) is utterly, completely horrific.

Being paid by them. They are “influencers” — that is, the monkeys not the organ grinders.
That’s the media’s response. NOT the people of the UK. It’s so important to know this! There is becoming an ever widening chasm between the media and the people. It’s v distressing. Hopefully The Telegraph being bought by Axel Springer will start a clean up there.
And I bet he felt a whole lot better afterwards. Bless him. Even tho he is, like the rest of us, screaming into the void.
I think he’s a bit jealous of this White House’s appalling video shouting about justice American style. When war is promoted like a video game we’re all in trouble.

Didn’t approve of all that crack smokin’ in the loo tbf. Magpies aren’t dumb.
If you read further the August 29th date is actually a referendum on whether to continue negotiations with the EU. Interestingly, concerns reflect arguments UK had before Brexit partic about voting for something w/o knowledge of the exit deal. That was a big ouch.

I want one of those Referendum thingies please. While you’re about it…
I thought the very same thing. It must be pitch perfect parody … then a pinch and a zoom and ohhhh! It’s not! It’s real! And that’s what that Isabel personage I keep hearing about thinks and sounds like. I was curious. Now I know. Crikey. Beggars belief.
But massive non overlap is bigger. Defense. Immigration. That’s two biggies.
This is a perfect time for them. I agree. Carpe diem.
The LibDems are the natural sensible centre of British liberal opinion. And I suspect likely reflects more of a majority than people realise. And we’re a pathologically polite people. Problem is that this doesn’t cut through in today’s bloodthirsty political rhetoric where nasty shouts at nasty.
I’ve lost count of the ways I disagree with Kemi Badenoch on Radio 4 Today. Any excuse to just disagree with government. We are defending our interests and our bases and sharing intelligence. To actively bomb Iran would be a massive escalation and a green light to more enemies.
You’ve actually made me a little tearful, Celia from Spain… we don’t know each other, but I thank you from London. If Sanchez helps smooth our path back in, we will try to be good friends and good Europeans. We need each other.
Please tell all your fellow citizens we’re cheering cheering Sanchez from here in confused UK. We miss being in the same club as you.
