Some people think that being a manager is all about strutting around and barking orders. The reality is opposite: Quietly going around and asking "Can you help me with X, please?" Once you grasp that, the world is your oyster.

All hardware problems can be fixed with software.
All software problems can be fixed with more hardware.
We can all sleep soundly tonight!
Got a mains socket in your loo...?
Art project?
(I have too many side projects to complete. Must resist buying more kits....)
I totally understand all of this is all "side project" level. I was surprised when I found that Spencer's full time job are his kits!
And if you factor in the retro 8-bit home computer market. People are still making magazines & writing software for these well-worn beasts. Just look at the demand for the Spectrum Next, C64U, etc.
If you look at what Dean, Spencer, Stephen et al are doing in the RC2014 space, there's clearly a demand for this era of kit.
What's the scale of funding you're looking for? Β£100? Β£1,000? Β£10,000? Β£100,000?
I've been following this and trying to delve into my fading Sun/Solaris memories to try and help and I can't recall seeing anything similar to this. Installing Solaris onto a Sun "Just Worked". I wondering if there's a hardware fault.
Could you use dd to write zeros to first few sectors?
Modern 4k displays make all 80s GUIs look clunky. But in their day, the 80s GUI were a leap forwards.
I'm often looking for WiFi APs and DECT APs when wandering around shops.
I have a T48 programmer. Would that suffice or would I need something else?
How much?

HR will be fine with it.
Two lines of text on an Oled display. First line says "Hello Quazar" and the second says "ABCDEFGHIJKL" All the characters are the right way round!
Three lines of text on an Oled display. First line "Hello Quazar" and "ABCDEFGHIJKL" are all at right angles. The third line is a single letter "A" the right way up.
Finally!
Three lines of text on a small Oled display on a RC2014 module. The first line (saying "Hello Quazar") and the second line (saying "ANBCDEFGHIJKL") are rotated 90 degrees. A final line with the sole character "A" is upside down.
Good news: I've written some Z80 code to change from horizontal to vertical font data. (Impressed myself with my bit-wrangling) All good to go now, yes?
Quazar OLED module showing two lines of text. One says "Hello Quazar" and the other says "ABCDEFGHIJKL" But all the letters are rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise.
@samcoupe.com Apart from the minor detail of the font orientationπ
Duration of play would depend on whether you're, say, a solo/lead instrument or just backing. Ballpark of an hour (maybe two) without a break.
Metal wind instruments are fairly fragile. The sax is also a reed instrument and the reeds and mouthpiece are especially fragile. A musician would typically keep half a dozen reeds in their case.
Not a sax player but I do play (for pleasure not pay!) other woodwind instruments, so I can give you some ballpark answers.
I don't know what they are talking about. I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary about your commentary. I think it's very clear and appropriate. The topics of your videos need a slightly slower, less chatting narrative to allow the viewer to take everything in.
You have my deepest sympathies.
