This is amazing to watch. I'm convinced Sophie, our Labradoodle, would get distracted one agility test in and end up sniffing around the course trying to track down the other dogs .
This disappearence raises so many questions. And the answers to those questions raise even more.

This morning I had to ask my husband if the specific ringing I was hearing was real or my tinnitus. The ringing sounded like a distant fire alarm. That's the first time, I think, that I couldn't tell if the tinnitus was inside or outside of my head. Ring a ding ding!

After a few hours at home, we went to see my husband's cousins performing at a coffee house in Pinole. After a night at home I'm going back to my mother's and the hospital tomorrow.
What a long stressful week.
Yes, we had grab bars put in years ago in preparation for aging in place. I will have to have ramps put in at the front and back doors. We'll also have to arrange to do laundry for her as the machines are down 2 steps.
Update on my mother's hip for those that are following:
The surgery was successful. Mom is relieved that it's done. She's got a great attitude about the long road to recovery ahead.
She will go to a rehab facility in a couple of days. Not sure how long that will be.
