#SOTD Inspired by Basenotes’ article on mood-enhancing fragrances, I picked Bois des Îles as my scent of the night. There isn’t much to dissect besides ylang and a heavenly creamy sandalwood. It’s a perfume that shields you in a cloud of beauty, peace & quiet amidst all the chaos surrounding.

I’m sampling this one right now! So disappointed. I never smelled the original formula, so I can’t attest anything there.
I 🤎ed clove cigs back in the day. I was hoping for that dry smokey crackle, but I just get a lot of wet cig butts + the stale residue of Jack &Cokes and smeared mascara at 4am.

Oh I’ve rented a handbag or 5 on my life 🤣 I always had a secret silly shame about it not being “my own.”The day finally came that I could afford “my own” and I can’t bring myself to use it because of the shame from being extravagant. Handbag neurosis 🤷🏻‍♀️
