open lets you play with friends and pro is only for playing solo, it's not a skill thing

my teammates are smarter than me i just saw people die immediately when the match started and thought you were throwing because it was a mirror match
I CANT DM YOU I JUST WANTED TO SAY I DIDNT REALIZE THEY WERE HACKING. IM SORRY
it's been a while since it came out, so here's some concept #art from deltarune ch3. i'm still really fond of this one.
Either way, series power isn't really meant to be a measure of skill. That's what X Battles are for. Series power is just so that a charger main trying brush for the first time doesn't have to face Splattershot McGee who has 10 stars on vshot, hero shot, and order shot replica
I said skill level, not power. Of course you should gain more points for beating players of a higher power. But someone having higher power than you doesn't always mean they're a stronger player.
Ofc I'm not accounting for bad luck with teammates/weapon matchups/what have you because the game doesn't itself. I just think if there's anything to complain about in this scenario, it's not the point system
Conversely, if you got steamrolled, that implies you are fighting players significantly above your skill level. It makes sense to lose a lot of points for this, unless you want to keep fighting unwinnable matches. You can't gain forever.
If the victory was hard-fought, that implies you are fighting players around or above your skill level. It doesn't make sense for you to gain many points from this if the goal is to keep matching you against players of a similar skill.
I'd been growing out my nails for like 3 months and clipped them so I could beat Gerson
i played against you during this rotation :o
unless you're talking about anarchy, which doesn't have a region selection. it WOULD be really weird to have to wait that long for a match in anarchy
splatfest region and x battle divisions are actually separate! you can set your splatfest region periodically at the lobby terminal iirc while you select your x battle division every time you rank up to S+0
there are very few players in tentatek division. splatoon is not popular outside of japan to begin with, and a lot of serious players use the jp servers anyways.
although really if anyone's to blame it's the dogshit matchmaking, i'm sure none of the people going negative WANT to be in these lobbies
same
it's open man you're probably getting mad at people still learning the game or trying new weapons. get mad at x battles
hardly anyone plays in na servers and you're trying to queue when most people who do are probably asleep
finished up my blob, acarbon(?) and luneo 4-star badges today for a total of 62 kits. 10k wins total and still no gold special badges!! #splatoon
I have the gold badge for 3 maps but have yet to get bronze for marooner's bay or spawning grounds
hello deltarune nation. here is my beautiful king tenna and his chopped ex
I think some people tend to clench up unnecessarily when mashing. It's easier said than done, but if you use just your finger without engaging those other muscles, you really don't get exhausted.
i don't think it's actually harder to play in takoroka! you still get matched with players close in power to you. it's only harder to get top ranks (t10, t500, etc) because you need a much higher power than in ttek
play in takoroka next season. matchmaking usually never times out, maybe 90 seconds for a match at worst. it takes forever in tentatek because hardly anyone plays outside of japan
When I first bought Splatoon 3, I didn't play online until I finished story mode, so that probably helped me get my bearings.
may be related to the fact that reef-lux is based off of yakult, a milk-based drink
Most Splatoon players never even unlock X battles. Don't let someone who's better than 90% of players get you down just because you're "only" better than 80%.
It's subjective. A lot of people are going to consider anyone "worse" than them to be dogshit. Could you be better? Ofc. Everyone is looking to improve, even the best of the best. And everyone deserves to have their progress celebrated.
