There’s been people saying oh it’ll never get to that point or we’ll never see anything like that happen here in America and here we are. We have someone that’s pardoning someone that inflicted violent insurrection in the same way that authoritarians in other countries have.

We knew we were getting to this point two years ago.

Its also just as important to find a community of like minded people whether it be church, a political organization within your local community , a protest movement with respected individuals from your community, etc. The biggest thing is that they want people to feel hopeless, alone, and voiceless.

Protesting in an oligarchy can be risky due to concentrated power, harsh repression, media control, and the ability of elites to co-opt or divide movements.

If we truly live in an oligarchy, protesting is pointless. We need to read more and stay informed. We must decipher what is real and what is misinformation. That's how we can revolt.
