Really not the time I should be trying to track down info on my Dad's bio Mom but sure. All I know is a name, where she gave birth to Dad, and that I look just like her.

I was trying to take a photo of the fabrics at the Mood fabrics booth but I took one of her instead. I adore this human. I just wished I talked more about the fatigue she was experiencing that day.
Honestly this is what started the Sounders NASL collection. She challenged me to find this photo of her in a KICK magazine. I did and then I found my Grandmother misquoted in a Sounders book. I heard the stories of Mom meeting players, away trips, meeting Dad, and I never stopped searching for the next piece of the puzzle. But there's Mom in her suit and round hair. Holding a Sounders coffee cup she still uses. One of my favorite stories is of her graduating from Seattle U and walking next door to celebrate at a Sounders game in Memorial stadium. My family calls it "The Archives" because it's grown so much from just Sounders to USL and MLS. Includes various indoor teams as well. But it's her. It's a love letter to her. It always has been. When I crashed out on trying to decide what to display at the Legend's event with Coach Schmetz, I was worried about letting her down. I was also worried that the things I think are cool, others wouldn't.
Her and I and the autograph books. She was helping me identify them. She hates having her photo taken so I have to sneak them when I can.
Hug your family. I adore her and she gets to go home soon. Yes, she's alive. It wasn't even close really. Just a giant wakeup call.

2 things- my dad being told he was a bad parent for spending too much time with his kids (fishing, camping, soccer, etc) and not enough time in church worshipping
Being told constantly God has a plan but I failed to understand why that plan consistently meant children grew up without a parent.
