Birmingham. Jasper is probably 40 miles from it. I live halfway between the two cities.
Downtown Jasper is now hip and cool. My daughter’s high school theatre teacher has been revitalizing, trying to get a theatre up and going using Tallula Bankhead as the mascot. I will rewatch the doc to see if I can comment on the authenticity of the romance and what the deal is with the accent.
