We know that there's NO hard-hearted folks amongst our followers.
But this really is a LOVE story, concerning vegetables, family and the deep earth beneath our feet.
Maybe, you'll weep a little and smile? 10 minutes only โค๏ธ ๐ฑ ๐
Enjoy...

This is for one of my oldest friends, we met in primary school and has been through a heck of a lot.
Thank you. It's good to remember it all now but at the time it was all a bit scary

Sorted. Took the oven out, took the back off to get to the hinges - which had become slightly unscrewed. Nothing on the internet to assist initially but a bit of common sense and....
better than a ยฃ100 call out.
Highly recommended viewing.
One of our fave channels on YouTube. Self-sufficiency, bread, veg, etc etc etc and a lovely self-deprecating sense of humour

We have 1.5hrs viewing per night and so much that we like to watch, so it can get a bit discombobulated.
This is one of our fave YT channels which is about as feel good as it gets. Highly recommended.

It's a symbiotic relationship between our log supplier and us ๐
great big bags of very fine wood chippings sitting on a driveway in North Yorkshire. To be carried up to their new home at our allotment site
There's another 6? 8? ... hopefully 10 of these coming next week.
Just chainsaw flakes. They're like gold dust to us on the allotment ๐ฑ

just a theory, but I think that he's maybe had an encounter with another human, who's not been so friendly. Was always fearful of that, as he was such a trusting little chap.
yes, very. He hung around though so he obviously still loves us.
was hoping that when we came back, that the fairies would have found somewhere to stack the rest of this wood.
Not to be
#allotment yes. #woodie of course.
"dinibished" ? If it continues to warm up, then we'll stop burning wood and that might be disadvantageous
meanwhile, it's on the drive. ๐
Took a top-up delivery this afternoon of kiln-dried Ash. Filled the log store again and the rest is on the drive still. Have not a clue where it is all going to go...
We buy 5 #Organic bananas a week. ยฃ1.45? That's all.
We eat fresh food in season, but we also freeze, can, jar, ferment, dry, store.
Simple life skills really. Our 8 month potatoes, apples, onions.. etc are better than anything bought in store & nothing sprayed on it
Life changing for us ๐ 2/2
... just thinking of the relative cancer-related issues of selecting the food that we (as a society) eat.
We buy 5 #Organic bananas a week. That's all. It's difficult to recall the last time that we bought fruit or veg ๐ฑ and we eat a LOT of it each week!
The pleasure of growing it... ๐ 1/2
This really is the tip of the iceberg.
It's never too late to change our eating (& buying) habits & select healthier, home-grown, organic alternatives. Some - cost very little.
Savings made could cover additional ยฃ of the items that are more expensive. #Organic
