Today marks the 13th anniversary of my mother's transition. I posted her photo to my socials, and I've been inundated w stories from folks who shared how Mama made them feel seen. She was a safe harbor for those seeking refuge from the cruelty of the world. I couldn't be prouder to be her son.
Embrace it, my baby! Before long, you’ll look all distinguished, and folks won’t be able to avert their gaze because you’ll be even more stunning! 🙂↕️

And this is a reminder that empowering state Dem chairs to back and boost their candidates of choice will have greater returns than someone planted/pushed by the National Dems. Both work, but the former feels (and often is) more authentic because they have greater ctrl over how they connect w voters
And it doesn’t hurt that she’s always been and still is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. 😊

As a former New Englander and the son of a Chicagoan, I gotta say that the snow cleanup in the DMV has been laughable. I know y’all don’t see tons of snow every year, but y’all should’ve been more prepared than this. More snowfall is on its way and some neighborhood streets have YET to be plowed! 🥴
