Oh also, I understand bass tone and how it fits into a mix a lot better now. I am really excited for the next album. I need to finish recording a few more things, but it is already sounding really fun.
About a year ago, I joined a band as a bass player. I feel like this has really helped in a huge way to make me a better bass player and to be more creative when writing parts. As a direct result, I am extremely happy with the bass parts I wrote and recorded for the next album of my own music.
