Thanks Susanne! Looking forward to more tropical mid-winter meetings in my life!
Thrilled to be accepted to @acnporg.bsky.social @npp-journal.bsky.social and look forward to future meetings!
Congrats to all new members!
Also, an annual reminder to keep applying if you didn't make the cut at #ACNP2026.

why bother when our <5th percentiles are turned away?
Great to hear. Congrats!
Any update on the outcome of this. Did you ever receive NoA?
One of my colleagues was asked to do an βinterim no cost extensionβ in lieu of an NOA. Didnβt even know that was a thing.
Though not posted to the register, SMN study section is tentatively re-scheduled for 4/22-4/23.
For anyone lurking here for this information (as I do for an MCNP re-scheduling announcement).
Ooof. What a depressing outlook. So bad for people at NIH, us, and the country as a whole.
Freezing out the NIH's funding means freezing out American innovation.
Research into curing cancer, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's all delayed.
And ultimately it won't just cost us advancements in life-saving research, it will cost us lives.

saw that. bummer. I have one at study section this week (not on register) and am scheduled to be on a study section next week (also not on register).
This seems to be the next one that isnβt listed in the register. Scheduled to meet tomorrow. public.era.nih.gov/pubroster/pr...
Maybe all the checking to see if it's offline overloaded the server π
Like ribbon candy
I saw these camping in TN after thanksgiving. No idea how this occurs.
As someone who worked with dopamine deficient mice and DAT-TH KO mice that were largely βnormalβ (not cited therein), Iβd say thatβs a big MAYBE. Something going on there, we donβt know what, and is doesnβt prove that the dynamics are unimportant under physiologically relevant conditions.
Reposting for the grad school applicants who may have recently joined the blue place. Also will be at ABRCMS so swing on by booth 639!
A starter pack! Some of my favorite women in neuroscience (sorry if I forgot you, I will add!)

I made a starter pack for neuroscience folks but I just saw that itβs capped at 150 people. Sorry if I missed anyone! Maybe #neuroscience folks should start making subfield starter packs? π§ͺ

My plea to Dem leaders, liberal elites, social scientists, and every critical thinker who wants to keep fighting is to think beyond the perennial assumption that working-class drift can only be arrested by tweaking economic policy or talking points. Free to all. www.offmessage.net/p/democrats-...
Yes. Great to see! I shut mine down for good Wednesday.
My run after lab meeting this morning!
