Hunh...
I'd never have guessed that'd be the component that failed.
Value drift; 470K --> 0? I dunno.

When you're done investigating, I'd love to hear your analysis.

Glad you got nightlights & some tinker time.

P.S. I'm recycling "resistor carbonara"

Yowza!
I'm curious -- Did the fuse blow?
Also, is that solder or molten aluminum on the bleeder?

The Bear and the Dragon.

Also, themes within Clancy's Debt of Honor are also loosely similar to our current moment.

How naive I've been...

Before Felon Trump, I had no idea that so many amoral, callous people existed.

I still can't fathom 40% support.

39% approval! Despite EVERYTHING.
I'm dumbfounded.

A maker space? Super cool. Thanks for the invitation.

I'll bring extra bits -- Guessing there'll be other like-minded folks.

See you tomorrow.
(It's the Mission Gorge Place location, right?)

Wrote his own drill bit calculator...

If PCB drills would advance your cause, I'll deliver a bunch to Farm to Smash on Valley Parkway. Trade you for a cheeseburger. LMK.

BTW,
Traipsed about MassMind. A treasure trove. Will fully rabbit hole later. Especially interested in your Disc Encoder.

I was in the industry -- Got 'em for pennies.

Typically vias are 0.20 - 0.30 mm; DIPs and small Rs & Cs 0.65 - 0.80 mm. Maybe take some calipers to your faves.

US Post is slow but reasonable. About $60.

How aout this:
I'll cover shipping & you donate a like amount to the charity of your choice.

Do you ever need really tiny holes?

I have 55K tungsten carbide PCB drills taking up space in my garage. Size range 0.15 - 2.5 mm.

Larger diameters will tolerate a Dremel, but < 0.50 mm requires near-zero runout. They're fragile as glass.

If you need to get small, DM a FedEx-able address.

How about these buckets, Schumer?:

Combating authoritarianism and descent into a police state.
Ending imperialism and wreckless foreign policies.
Prosecuting corruption; Restoring trust.
Rebuilding a government decimated by DOGE.

Yes, but he and his cabal are adept at insider trading.
To wit, Chevron stock (CVX) jumped just before the strike.

Yes, personal gain.

Also, creating a Putin-esque power structure --
Select, then allow oligarchs to amass wealth in return for political support (and kickbacks).

Here, it's Chevron & Mike Wirth.
