Here’s a first look at the #StarTrek float debuting at the 137th Rose Parade, on Jan 1st 2026.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary, it’ll have “Space for Everybody” as it voyages through Pasadena.
It will also promote #StarfleetAcademy.
Before I start talking about food on #StarTrekTOS, I have to mention the very first drink/food ever seen on #StarTrek: The martini Dr. Boyce serves to Captaik Pike (in a beaker, no less) in the original pilot "The Cage". This is the only time a martini is seen without olives on the shows: 🧵 1/2
We get a good look at Pike's bedroom in #StarTrekSNW's "New Life and New Civilizations". I love that he has a model of the USS Enterprise on display and there are books not in the shelves but on top of the whole shelf unit (like in my bedroom - just not enough space for #StarTrek books!) 😜

In future Pike's home in #StarTrekSNW's "New Life and New Civilizations"⬅️, there's a bottle of brown kanar in its trademark bottle. It's the same rare brown kanar variety that only appeared in #StarTrekDS9's "Way of the Warrior"➡️ (instead of the much more common black variety). 👌
