Legitimate question while doing research: how do we NOT get flagged on a watchlist because of the research weβre doing π«£
Tell your reps:
Not Vance repeatedly making direct eye contact with the cameras and frowning during the announcement #impeachTrump
They've got enough money to throw us into another war, but not enough money to fund the suicide prevention hotline. Very "pro-life." Very "pro-family." So "GREAT."
Ugh.
Same. Glad to know we were all awake together though!

So so so thankful for my time at Vanderbilt and working with the CAPOC team. Thank you for helping me grow as a clinician and allowing me to be a part of your team! I will always carry a little piece of Vandy with me. On to new things!
Dragons love Tacos!
Final day of seeing patients at Vanderbilt is bittersweet. Excited for new adventures and reuniting our family, but will deeply miss my colleagues and patients

Mental health days should be offered and treated the same as regular sick days when it comes to work.
Change my mind.
If you have a therapist in your life who is a friend, colleague, or family member (not your therapist)
Check in with them
Ask them how theyβre doing and what they need
Give them a hug (with consent!)
Bake them a treat, buy them dinner
β> Thank you to all you dedicated therapists!!! πππ
Iβm with you! I have no issue with them looking me up because they want to know more about me since theyβre trusting me with their vulnerabilities. I donβt look them up unless they tell me to and we do it together in session
When I worked with the formally incarcerated, they told me they tried to look me up on social media because they were curious. Needless to say, I donβt have many social media accounts. Or at least lots of protections in place if I do
Congratulations!!!
Thank you Greyhound!
Extremely appreciative of the Data over Dogma podcast for using their platform to constantly call out Christian Nationalism. Check it out and @maklelan.bsky.social works to help combat disinformation with your CN and MAGA fam

Enjoying this set up in the waiting room of my own childrenβs therapist. Additionally thankful for therapists who have weekend availability!
This has been such a long week π
Friendly reminder that your behavioral health providers do not have to put up with your abuse and behavior just because we are in a helping profession. We will set appropriate boundaries and consequences for your behavior while still striving to help. But not at the risk of our safety
When we were getting my son diagnosed for ADHD, I was asking my mom about family history. Turns out I was diagnosed as a child - she just never told me. Didnβt want to it to affect my view of myself π« I specialize in neurodevelopmental disorders
So glad to hear you make time for your own therapy!! I know it helps you to be a fantastic therapist!! Iβll have to check that book out
Oooh! Iβll add it to my to-reads
Absolutely vital!
All important things!!!
In honor of my birthday, I finally decided to read a book by my namesake - Danielle Steel.
Starting off with the The Gift.
What books of hers do you recommend?

Happy Monday #TherapistSky!
