We live in an age where what is weak is seen as strong, and what is strong is seen as weak. What is foolish is seen as wise, and what is wise is seen as foolish.
If you worry about being looked down upon, consider who it is others do look up to. Then, you may find the courage to be yourself anyway.

In the face of the Trump administration's anti-trans efforts, researchers and volunteers around the world are backing up federally-funded studies, and vowing to keep the resources online.

A study of more than 30,000 British adults diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, found that, on average, they were dying earlier than their counterparts in the general population β around seven years earlier for men, and around nine for women.

βI had a feeling that there were people watching what was happening and wondering, Was anyone going to say anything?β Bishop Mariann Budde explained. βWas anyone going to say anything about the turn the countryβs taking?β

Hi! Could you add me to the list?
Hi! Could you add me?
As much as I dislike Trump, it seems as though successful dictators like Putin and Xi Jinping are better at restraining themselves. That might limit his reach.
What might save us the most is his uncooperative tendencies + sheer division of power. It's possible that Trump will piss off enough of his own party & corporations that a good number won't want to cooperate with him.
According to this page it might take some time for voter history to be updated:
www.ncsbe.gov/news/press-r...
It has been several days already but it might take longer.
I didn't get a text or email. Hopefully the Board of Elections will respond to me soon, or voter history updates in the coming days.
I think election officials should consider making this more apparent. This information took time to find. But that's just my two cents.

I'm assuming there would be some cameras in the vicinity to verify I was there, at least? And a handful of workers might be able to verify that I registered, even though it doesn't show it online?
I believe I was the last person to vote early there because one of the workers remarked on it.
I want to wait to hear what the county says before posting tons of speculationβbut I will say that I live in a county with some retirees that lean especially right wing, and there is a notable divide between them and other voters here. My voting location was also a church, which... well, is a thing.
As far as I'm aware in-person records should be updated by now, but I'm checking with the county and state Board of Elections currently.
I did put my ballot through a machine, and was surrounded by workers the entire time to help in case there was an issue.
