The image is a vertical photograph taken at night, looking up at the entrance of a theater.
At the top of the frame, there is white text with a black background overlay that reads:
"Loved this!!!!
Proper scary!!!
Very clever,
performances were
very moving πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘"
Below the text, the Ambassadors Theatre is visible. The architecture features a curved facade lit with a warm red glow. A large vertical banner or poster is displayed on the front of the building, depicting a silhouetted man holding a flashlight and opening a door. At the bottom of this banner, the title "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY" is written in glowing orange neon-style letters.

A grainy, low-light close-up of comedian Freddie Starr lying down, captured with a blue-tinted night-vision effect. He appears to be in a trance-like state with his eyes partially closed, reportedly during a paranormal investigation where he was said to be possessed by a spirit named "Roger."

Listeners of the podcast will no doubt enjoy Stuart Millard's @franticplanet.bsky.social YouTube channel. It features some great TV from the '80s, '90s, and '00s, but I’d specifically point you towards his coverage of the exorcism of Freddie Starr. youtu.be/XRRhNvSsW3g?...

An image of a cluttered, creative desk setup against a deep blue wall. The desk is packed with various pieces of technology and hobbyist gear, including a laptop, a desktop monitor, a small MIDI keyboard, a mechanical keyboard, a microphone on a boom arm, and a VR headset.
The wall behind the desk is decorated with several framed posters and prints, including:
β€’ A large, vibrant "This Island Earth" movie poster featuring a Metaluna Mutant.
β€’ The classic "I Want to Believe" X-Files UFO poster.
β€’ A "Ghost of Frankenstein" movie poster.
β€’ A small Andy Warhol-style portrait.
Other notable items on the desk include various action figures, a red fez hat resting on a lamp, and a large Dalek model from "Doctor Who" to the right. The room has a cozy, personal feel with purple LED accent lighting beneath the monitor shelf.

There was much merriment made about me spilling beer on my β€˜felt’ desk cover in the recent @generalwitch.bsky.social podcast - I thought I’d use that as an excuse to share my desk set up which I’m very pleased with after a bit of a tidy up over Xmas

The front cover of a book titled "MAKE SURE YOU'RE AROUND AFTER YOU'VE GONE." The cover is an olive green color with a textured finish. It features a dark, blurry illustration of a person standing next to a larger, shadowy figure that resembles a ghost in a sheet. At the bottom, it says "GHOST STORIES" in orange hand-drawn lettering, with a note: "INTRODUCTION BY DAVID LOWERY."

A photograph of a black page in a book. Centered on the page is hand-written style text in white chalk-like lettering that reads: "THE SUM OF OUR PARTS, CHRIS ADRIAN." The page is slightly angled, showing the curve of the book’s spine on the left.

A close-up photograph of page 87 from a book. The text begins with: "Beatrice needed a new liver. Her old one had succumbed to damage suffered in a fall one month earlier..." The narrative describes a woman in a coma whose spirit is watching a nurse named Judy draw her blood. The lighting creates a soft shadow across the bottom left of the page.

Really enjoying this collection of short ghost stories I got for Christmas- I’m about halfway through and this one by Chris Adrian is the stand out so far - can’t stop thinking about it

Anyone remember those Livewire Chillers from school, the little horror books for kids who weren’t big readers?

A screenshot of the Vinted app showing a list of recommended items. The top row shows two men’s shirts from Jack and Jones and Massimo Dutti. Every so often Vinted throws in a wild card among the usual shirts and T-shirts it serves me, as if to test the algorithmic waters. β€˜Fancy some Nazis?’
