... I've released a new novel, gotten another one ready for release in early September, and had a vacation from my mentally and emotionally draining full-time job.
It really is important to keep things in perspective. I'll be going back to work refreshed and rested, and on a lighter schedule. 🙌
This is the second summer in a row where I've gotten to the end of August and become frustrated about how little I've accomplished in terms of new writing.
But then I remember that ...

I appreciate the type of resort where they give you a waterproof wristband that also unlocks your room and can charge food and drinks to your account. Now if only it included some sort of camera, I wouldn't have to carry anything at all!

I'm going to age myself in saying this, but I find such a mix usually exists in Facebook groups - certain ones at least. I've found readers that way, along with a lot of amazing fellow writers. Sure, there are some on Twitter as well, and those there are active, but it's no longer expanding.
