I love my Ossiarch Bonereapers but damn, they're the most difficult painting project I ever attempted. I still struggle to paint them and I had faced hobby burnout more than once over the last weeks while trying to get them done. Hopefully, things will be easier now that I settled on a colour scheme

I've seen the Black Library Open Submission. Sounds fun. If I were a better writer and I had the mental capacity to write stories right now, I might had considered to join but considering that I am also not a native speaker, I wouldn't know how to write Nagash or any other of the undead anyways...
Yep, it's a cool concept that they don't necessarily like Sigmar for bringing them back as Stormcasts. Gives a lot of options for story telling too.
Also funny enough that it remind me of the Flesh Eater Courts, who all have a sense that Nagash is their god even if they don't like him.
Underworlds isn't part of the preview. I think it might be something for Necromunda. But I seriously can't tell what it is other than a huge weird looking worm.
Yeah, blue looks like it could be new Soulblight Vampire Character for AoS (which makes sense, Death is next on the road map.... but sadly it isn't a Bonereaper).

Do I like that Nagash is now 900 Pts for Ossiarch Bonereapers: definitely not.
But I agree that the point increase for Katakros was necessary. He's powerful with his buffs.
But I have to write new lists now.

I am slowly figuring out how to paint better looking bones... But I am getting nowhere closer to calling Kainan and his reapers done... Should paint the bases before adding more highlights, because than they'll look better when I am playing Warcry.

Okay is there any good advice on how to paint the Purple Sun of Shyish and the Suffocating Gravetide? I really just don't know where to start. I am probably just intimidated by the sheer size of these endless spells.

If one doesn't like Drakenhof Nightshade. Tyran Blue is lighter but can also work well depending on the silver spray one uses. Or if one use Grey Knight Steel as foundation (which is sadly not available as spray).
