My name is Krystal Swords, and I would love to teach you how to play guitar and/or learn music theory! I provide a queer-positive, judgement free learning space for anyone looking to start their musical journey. I'm happy to work with students of any age and background! I have fifteen years of guitar playing under my belt, as well as five years of formal music theory education and two years of professional experience tutoring youth. I'm happy to offer both guitar lessons as well as music theory lessons. Though I was initially trained in classical theory, I am happy to tailor my lessons to whatever you're looking for, whether that be helping improve your songwriting or just gaining a deeper understanding of how to think about music. Base rates start at $50 for a half hour lesson and $80 for an hour, but if that's out of your budget, I'm happy to work with you to find a payment plan that works, as I want this to be accessible to all!
