No other intervention is so effective or affordable, or so popular.
There have been 107 requests for 20 mph zones in Trafford but only 4 have been actioned. Residents want 20mph and are being ignored.
The Conservatives and Labour have left us bottom of the league. No wonder our residential streets feel so hostile and people are afraid to walk their kids to school.
In the many places they are being introduced, 20mph limits are reducing road deaths and serious injuries by 20-30%.

Today marks 25 years of offshore wind power: an initiative that reduced the UK’s spending on imported fuels by up to £30bn.
