US Representative Ted Lieu (L), Democrat from California, speaks to a reporter as he departs a news conference at the US Capitol in Washington, DC. (Photo by ROBERTO SCHMIDT / AFP via Getty Images)
Ted Lieu: “A foreign hacker likely has the Epstein Files — the best way to prevent blackmail of government officials, such as Trump & Howard Lutnick, would be for AG Pam Bondi to stop the cover up & release all the Epstein Files as required by law”
Mary Trump: “For Donald, there is one reason and one reason alone. He's in trouble, and he knows it. This isn't simply about changing the subject. That, of course, would be bad enough. This is to keep himself and the world from knowing what an inept, depraved, compromised fraud he is."
The bottom line is Trump sacrificed 8 American lives (& counting) and more than 1,000 Iranian lives (& counting) for nothing. He hurt the US & global economies, destabilized the Middle East, & will pull out with the same Iranian regime in power. There's no silver lining.
A senseless, criminal waste
Some folks replying to this don't understand that the "because they did not see this coming" part is load-bearing.
Obviously MAGAs and people who like cruelty aren't leaving. But that's not all of his voters. Some of them got propagandized & reality is now loud enough to break through propaganda.
I really wish that the people who voted for Trump because they did not see all this coming would take the next logical step to "what did the people who *did* see it coming do differently?" and switch up their information sources.
Continuing to vote without doing so is citizenship malpractice.
I have yet to see a Republican do something to improve the lives of people.
Not great when the only people in the free world who believe and trust Vladimir Putin’s word on critical things despite all evidence to the contrary are currently running the government of the United States.
"I don't want the president of the United States to have a cognitive deficiency."
Too late.
Another hush money payment.
He looks fucking terrible
DISTRACTIONS DON’T WORK.
COVERUPS WON’T WORK.
NOT EVEN WAR.
RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.
This is clearly fine with the GOP.
The most evil monster in America today is the Republican Party and their evil media.
If you really want to know who the Republican Party is?…listen to their accusations of the Democrats.
Very disappointing, though ultimately unsurprising, to see the DOJ surrender in the middle of the Ticketmaster-LiveNation case after political pressure from the top. Hopefully the states will continue to push to break up a monopoly that should have never been allowed to exist in the first place.
I’m seeing a whole lot of “but what about” posts on here today.
We’ve reached the point of fascism (a long time ago, honestly) when things are really bad for a lot of people.
Someone naming how it’s bad for them isn’t taking anything from you. Solidarity with each other is the way out of this.
Good thing trucks that transport millions of products every day in the US don’t use diesel so we don’t have to worry about inflation getting worse.

Shit, like escalation, happens, as Donald & Pete are finding out. (Bibi’d previously figured this out.)
Strange how every “America First” move somehow ends up helping Moscow. What a coincidence.
Imagine a world where Americans were smarter and didn’t applaud when reactionary idiot Ronald Reagan made a show out of removing the solar panels Jimmy Carter had installed on the White House. We wouldn’t now have to worry about affording to fill gas tanks next month.
Trump likes his name on everything. I suggest that the age old "Murphy's Law" should henceforth be "Trump's Law" because everything that goes wrong generally can be attributerd to Trump.
Secretary of War Crimes Pete Hegseth:
“Terrorist regimes target civilians, we do not.”
According to UNICEF the U.S. has already hit 20 schools, 10 hospitals, and killed over 1,300 civilians including 300 children.
So by Hegseth’s own logic the U.S. is a terrorist regime.

Donald Trump has to be the most dangerously unintelligent person on earth
You want America to end but you're only blaming Hillary and Kamala for the world's problems.
Trump says he doesn't care about Iranian democracy. Of course, he doesn't care about American democracy either.
