The BBC is one of our great national institutions. But by pandering to those who hate it, with false equivalence BS like this (since 2016), it is killing off the support of those who have held it dear. Few will mourn its eventual demise even though we shall all be left poorer. Tragic.

Sadly “focus” and “minds” are words barely applicable to that audience. What’s needed is a message that appeals to primordial instincts (but also the better nature of the majority) as powerfully as “sovereignty “ and “take back control“ did. I have not yet heard one.
