Same here! Also argue that it is easier for beginners. Zero config to have a working environment with debugger, auto-import, etc
Actually, [thing you just learned is bad] outrage is overblown. There are even some studies that show [dubious and out of context fact I just found on a quick search] can be beneficial
I never realized this is an ongoing trend. I used to have a personal website, but dropped it in favor of medium, distal, etc for the last decade. I just revived it this past week and retired the rest
To get to nominal $6-$7M in 14 years given historical returns you would need somewhere around $1.5-$2M
