A good day at the forge today. Practised reverse twists on some hair pins and half arsed a snake pendant (it is the year of the snake after all).

I was going to scrub some clean with vinegar but was having too much fun with the brass brushing.

Off to see Wardruna with a friend tonight at the Palais in St Kilda. I'm wearing two trolls I made (necklace and belt). The circlet on my forehead isn't made by me, it's also Celtic not Norse but meh. Both are from my ancestors.

I'll be trying my hand at making things like hammers and axes this year, but in the meantime it's cloak brooches, hair pieces, bracelets and pendants, smaller things for markets. And there's potential to do a bunch of Medieval festivals which is very exciting!

The blacksmithing area of Merri Community Shed in Cobirg is one step closer to being a reality! We just got delivery of the forge today. I'm so very excited! Now to write up all those safety protocols!
